What is Argos Dollars for Scholars?

It is an affiliate chapter of the national organizaton "Scholarship America".  Argos Dollars for Scholars is estabilished to help raise scholarship money for deserving high school graduates.  Argos Dollars for Scholars is a non-profit organization made up of local unsalaried student and adult volunteers.

 

What is Its Purpose?

The puropse is to expand educational opportunities of Argos Students by:

• Building an endowment the income of which will fund scholarships now and into the future.
• Raising funds for scholarship distribution.
• Rewarding past performance and future potential through awards of financial assistance and encouragement.
• Awarding these scholarships on a fair, equitable, and nondiscriminatory basis to deserving students in the Argos community.
• Fostering goodwill and support in the community that works to benefit its your people.
